Anyone want impressions from Judah of the boat My Lady, often found asking questions about a certain hedgehog or asking rabbits "How is Rabbit?"

Hee, finally someone I actually interacted with. :) Was playing Rat-Maddy and would love an impression.

Maddy of the Boat and Burrow (with some reference to other Rats)
In my experience Rats tend to have "panache", which is flair, not a form of a flan, although it sounds like one. It comes with the River, and being traders and singers. Carleton has the more infuriating variant of it, Snap the gentler, Mumsy her own kind. Steel had it in spades and look where that got him, his sister still does and that vile Caveat thinks he has far more of it than he actually does. He's example of it gone bad. Young Sal has it too. You don't. You're the Quietest Rat I've ever met- you speak a great deal, but that doesn't mean you're not quiet. It's not a bad thing, you lacking it, it's probably good- you remind me of my mother, except that you actually possess basic decency and don't regard People as Things. (You heard Jameson and I sing her song, didn't you? That song's the essence of my Mama, only she's Sensible with it). It's the Sensible in you that reminds me of her, which is just as powerful in it's own way as panache or flair, and probably needed a good deal more. Snap's Sensible too, all you lot are, but you are it without the air of showman, which makes you very strange indeed. At least to me it does. But I'm an old romantic so addled by Dreamsmoke and Experience that I forget the River at the one time of the season it actually matters. Believe me, I respect Sensible. There's just very little of it in me.

You actually use the spices you have to season apple and wine, and that's Sensible and I'm extremely grateful to you for it, more than I can say. That was the last food I shared with one of my oldest friends, though not quite the last drink.

You're a good 'un Maddy. Remember that.

Thankee, that's lovely. I knew about the Sensible, but I hadn't realised quite how shadowy Maddy was. With any luck, this will change. :)
